• Type "2" and send it to 131

Wait for a confirmation message with the details of your data balance and it's expiration date

How to check mtn data balance through USSD Code

Checking your mtn data balance via the USSD Code is said to be the best and the most easiest way to check your data balance, quickly apply this following methods

• Locate your "contact icon" on your mobile phone
• Dial *131*4# and send

Immediately, a details of your data balance will pop-up on your mobile phone screen.

Another alternative is to dial *559# or *559*78# and send.

How to check mtn bonus data balance

If you ever feel like you ain't seeing your mtn bonus data balance with *131*4#, then worry not, quickly dial *559*2# and send. A pop up notification message with your data and bonus data balance together with the expiration date of your data.

How to check mtn sme data balance

When it comes to mtn sme, you should know that it involves two parties, the sender and the receiver.

The sender is the the person that bought the mtn sme data in large quantity from Mtn and sales in small unit to others.

The receiver is the person that bought mtn sme data in small unit from the person that bought directly to mtn.

To simply put, the sender is known as the retailer, whereas the receiver is the individual who bought it for personal use.

To check your mtn sme data balance as the sender via the USSD Code, dial *461*2*3*1# or *461*3# and send.

To check your mtn sme data balance via SMS as a sender, SMS the word "SMEBALANCE" and send to 131.

To check your mtn sme data balance as a receiver via the USSD Code, dial *461*2*3*2# or *461*2# and send.

To check your mtn sme data balance as a receiver via SMS method, SMS the word "SHAREBALANCE" and send to 131.

A pop up notification message with the details of your data balance and it's expiration date will appear on your mobile phone screen.

How to check mtn night data balance

There are two night available plan namely, the 500MB which cost N50 and the 250MB plan which cost N25. But unfortunately, am so sorry to say that currently, there is no USSD Code for checking mtn night data balance even the almighty *559*2# or *131*4# won't display your night data balance.
